IC Trophy Vault Access

If you are already carrying an assembled key in your inventory for the chest inside a particular Trophy Vault (e.g., a Carved-Bone key for the Bone Shard Vault), will you be able to enter the Vault, or do the Vault doors ONLY respond to the required number of key frags?

Ah! Thanks for the reply; I had forgotten I posted this, which was only because the server was down for maintenance yesterday when the question popped into my head, so I couldn't test it at that moment.

But I did try it early this morning, and it did work with just an assembled key, although I wasn't sure if that was because I had already opened the door once in that same session with fragments.

It was also cool to see that opening the vault door with a key doesn't consume the key.

the key is only consumed when you open the chest in the vault

technically speaking you can walk through the door, which converts the fragments into the appropriate key, and then leave the vault without spending the key

if you dont have enough fragments to form a key, or no keys for that vault, then it wont let you go through the door (no matter if you have opened it previously in the play session)
