More Freedom for Quest Rewards

Magia_Infernum
I know this the crafting thread, but I don't know which other thread to post it on to, so here goes: I think we should have the freedom to choose when we get items as quest rewards. Despite being encouraged to play any play style with any class, quest rewards are currently chosen by class (ie. I play a DK firemage, but all my quest rewards are heavy armor class). Instead of having the game engine choose for us, I suggest that we get the freedom to choose.

I don't know about being able to choose the reward. But it would be nice if the reward were taoilored to the character in question, to their highest skill or some such thing for item type reward.

    Example:

    15 Breton Templar
    Destruction Staff / Bow
    Light Armor

I constantly receive Heavy Armor and 2h Weapons as Rewards which are useless for my build.

This is not true... there is NO leveling quests which gives you gear depending on your class. I get staffs, melee weapons, 2-handed weapons, Light, medium and heavy armor from different quest and i am a Nightblade heavy armored sword and board.

The original idea of the game makers was to give you free choise of weapon/armor choice. Of course there are some prefered sets but how should the game know this? Anyway this would work against the original principles...

(And it would make the game more easy - who likes too easy games? )

i agree that some choice should be there. i am ok with my dragonknight getting light armor. but i would like to choose one that has stats i havent researched. or maybe i could get one my friend could use. as it is most rewards are junk. junk that is forced on me. hell i would even just take the cash value lol.
