REQUEST - option to turn on / off animated furnishings

I think it would be a good addition if we could turn on / off some of the animtated furnishings.
For example, I really like that clockwork fan furnishing and you can get very creative with it, but it constantly spins with no "active / inactive" switch and although the whirring sound is also really good, it would be good to have the option to turn it off. There are some lights that you cant turn off, flags that flap about and host of other things.
Perhaps it may not be possible to alter some of them but if it is, that would be great!
