ToT combos not working properly?

Have combos stopped working properly in tales of tribute? At first I thought I was dreaming but several times now the combo on a card I've already played hasn't triggered when I've played a later card from the same hand of the same suit?

    Greetings,

After review we have decided to move this thread to a category we think is more appropriate for this topic (Tales Of Tribute, as this thread is regarding Tales of Tribute).

    Thank you for your understanding.

Do you remember which cards did not make the combo?

No it's quite intermittent. I'm wondering if it may be a bug so will try to note it down if happens again.

One possibility is that the combo you were expecting has been moved from combo 2 to combo 3. For instance, they "nerfed" Crow a little bit by doing that to some of the cards; now the second "draw another card" requires a 3 combo whereas it used to require only a 2 combo.

I know from memory it wasn't that as I checked when it failed. I'm reasonably sure all the times it happened were with the Rajhin deck.

I know I had a combo fail at least once recently: I played the Snakeskin Freebooter, the Orgnum agent that gives a boarding party card with a 2 combo. I then bought King Orgnum’s Command, the Orgnum tithe card, that turn. The combo did not proc, so I didn’t get a boarding party card. Those were the only two Orgnum cards I played that turn, so the combo couldn’t have been procced already.

In other matches I’ve seen the Orgnum tithe card proc other Orgnum combos, so I don’t know why it would fail with this agent other than a bug. I know I had just played the agent that turn too, so it wasn’t a case of forgetting to activate it.

I haven’t been able to reproduce the situation yet (having a Freebooter and being able to buy Orgnum’s Command).

Come to think of it, I think it may have happened to me with contract cards not triggering the combo. It's possible that's the common element between our experiences.

Can confirm that combos do not appear to be working properly when multiple contract action cards are played in the same turn. The combos for them, and for normal cards playing in the same turn from the same suit, do not happen, when the combos should be triggered by playing the contract action cards. Could someone @zos check this out? Happened with red eagle cards this time.

Edit: i don't know if it's playing ANY contract action that's the problem or several in the same turn, for the avoidance of doubt. I think it might be any.

At least two or three times now I've encountered a problem with the Hlaalu agent that lets you acquire a card for up to 5 gold. When I combo it and get the opportunity to acquire a card, I click on the card I want to acquire (which absolutely does cost 5 gold or less), then click on the option to confirm my choice, but nothing happens and I end up losing out on that combo.

It seems like the first contract purchased isn't triggering the combo effects, but if any on color contracts are purchased afterward, then all combos will be triggered, including the missed ones.
    Don't tank

I just encountered this for the first time. I had Almalexia deck and two agents (one contract, one not contract) on the table who can confine opponent cards when combos of the deck happen. I had at least 2-3 hands where I absolutely should have triggered that combo, but it never took me to the screen to confine opponent cards. It just acted like I hadn’t played the agents at all or as if they didn’t exist.

Patrons in use were Crow, Red Eagle, Hlaalu, and Almalexia.
