Specifically for the flame staff, since the change of this passive does the heavy attack dot only apply once with a heavy attack? Or is it reapplied every heavy attack? Second, since the change to Ancient Knowledge with today's pts, is the heavy attack dot from Tri Focus buffed by 12% also?

the way ive understood it from people who have been on the PTS is that it reapplies the dot every heavy, so if your spamming heavies it will overwrite the previous dot if your hitting the same target

and i would assume the dot on the heavy is also buffed by the new bonus on fire staves

We want the flame heavy to freely apply the dot. I don't see why we would ever want to spam heavy attacks with flame staff, so it should be fine. We could have the dot start immediately or even just after a 1 second delay instead of being awkwardly timed the way it is
