PS5 NA game lag

For a couple weeks now, lag has taken over my game experience. It takes several button presses for skills sometimes and feels very sluggish. I have not had these issues since I upgraded to a 5 over a year ago. I am primarily a trials player and the experience since I got a 5 has been very crisp until recently.

I have checked my internet repeatedly- I am hardwired. I have an expensive internet plan, my own modem and router. I have not had these issues in other games or had any other internet issues.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

    I play on PS/NA, and have been in 3 trials in the past several days. In each trial, one or two folks had issues either with lag or being disconnected. We talked about it in group a bit, folks were saying they had power cycled their modem/router and console. My PS5 has been behaving, and my internet plan and modem/router are not expensive.

    I have power cycled all of the things and I'm one step away from yeeting my ps5 off of the roof.
    It's probably just my new normal. Thanks anyway.

    Shockingly, this past week the lag has just resolved itself out of the blue. I signed on for trials and it just acted like normal.

    Honestly, it could have been something in my area. I have no idea. All speed tests/ping tests indicated our end was fine. But now I'm back to normal.
