For those of you on PTS. Did they remove the cool cast animation and red glowing weapon since it’s by default on whenever slotted? It’s my favorite NB ability and it feels super cool to cast with the whole glow under your feet and stuff. Is that gone now?

You can't precast the red aura. It will only start showing once you do one bow proc. After that it's permanent, changing areas or even logging out and in won't disable it (relaunching the game probably will but PTS is installed on my HDD and I really didn't want to sit through a 10 minute loading screen).

There's no nightblade icon on the ground.

Oh, no! So the cool animation is gone O.O I hope they somehow let is keep the cool animation with the new version. Like allow us to click the skill to do the animation but it has now effect or cost as you build stacks passively but just for the sake of keeping the animation in the game.

Yes, the unique animation with the nightblade symbol is completely gone now Same thing with bound armaments, the cool purple smoke around you character is gone now as well

They got rid of my favorite animation in the game last year as well (the wraiths on manifestation of terror)

Casting Grim Focus mid combat feels so cool! This is a sad day indeed 🥺 They could keep the nightblade symbol for when we cast the brow proc!

That's actually pretty disappointing despite caring more about gameplay rather than visuals, this particular sorcerer VFX's were like a signature. Would definitely miss it and login to my old stamsorc less.
