Dev's consistancy regarding weapon changes.

"Follow Up: This passive now increases your damage done with all two handed attacks by 5/10% for 4 seconds after completing a fully charged Heavy Attack, rather than increasing the damage of your next direct damage by 10% after completing a fully charged Heavy Attack.."

"Now the set rewards both passive use of the skill with the Stampede morph as a back bar option, as well as more active use and scaling to provide powerful pressure for full on Two Handed builds that use every attack from the skill line."

"In order to help Bows feel more like additional tools for your character rather than their own isolated play style, we're expanding out this bonus two-fold to help it become a more viable option for different builds. Since this passive previously only enhanced other Bow attacks, it created situations where the weapon heavily dissuaded you to use other skills, making it feel restrictive rather than additive."

Those are just copy past from the patchnote with some benched text to highlight my thoughts.

what i understand of this is that they make the 2H playstyle to be only using 2h attacks in order to perform good because passives will only apply to 2h attacks while at the same time they use the exact opposite argument to justify the changes to bow's playstyle making new passives to apply to everything instead of only bow's attacks but less powerfull.

to me this is just another proof (if ever needed) about how much ZoS's devs need to gather themselves once and for all.

If we talk about removing the longrange buff: it will destroy the entire longrange playstyle because bow are now going to do more dmg at melee range (5% blank) than it could do at range. unless someone manage to prove me that 6%crit chance does more than 5% pure dmg.
Also, on a pure bow pov, acid spray needs to be used at range otherwise you dont hit enough ppl (conal aoe) so that you'll either hit barely 1 to 2targets for 5% more dmg or hit multiple targets for 12% less than before.
Regarding BRP bow: you need to be at 20m to get a 12s dmg (6tics, 360% dmg (+12%)) and will now have to either get it at melee for 4 to 6/8s of dmg depending on unmanageable 14mrange (up to 4tics, 240% dmg (+5%)) or get full dmg time with a flat 12% dmg loss.
vatesh bow would benefit from that change even tho i dont know anyone who uses it over brp and maestrom bows.

Again, there is absolutely NO utility to test that on PTS, nothing about the proposed changes is good.

-Maths are wrong by themselves and do not take the actual game situations you're facing into consideration.
-Arguments justifiying the changes are the exact opposite from one weapon to another.

For me it's just a game and i dont really bother, i'll play the game whatever lvl of sickness it'll reach but for you DEVS, it is a work. You should feel ashamed to do stuff like this.
deeply ashamed.
