Makes sense for Arcanist. It's the new class and is in a decent spot, though it is a bit weak as a DPS in some dungeons and trials due to interrupts. DK got a nerf and a buff, damage being down is probably needed but the buff evens out the nerf tbh so it probably didn't do much. Glad to see some Necro, NB, and Sorc love, even if it's only a little bit. They've been needing it for a while. Templar and Warden though...

Exactly. Didn't buy Necrom because it was all I to Archanist and it looks like there is no reason to come back for u39 because it is a round 2 of catering everything to the new class.

Tbf, I like Arcanist. It fulfills my want from 2015 to do a god beam only Templar. But it's not all powerful, in fact, it's pretty weak when compared to the classes that are doing well, at least in PVE. It's doing better than some classes, but slotted in just fine without being completely overpowered like new classes usually are when they release.

At least, for DPS. I can't say for Tanking or Healing, I've heard it's overtuned there.

Yeah it's catered to the new class, as expansions with new classes usually are. I'm not mad at the class though, just sad that even when ZoS does buff other classes, they ignore ones that need the most love. Lookin at you, Warden.\

Needs testing. The original buff already effected templar. If the buff doubles up for AOE channels, then it's maybe a buff. But then again, it's probably not a big buff since you'd need to swap off of Dual wield, and magplar has such terrible sustain already. I'd wager it's no more than a 5% buff if I'm being generous, and only if the bonus doubles if your attack meets both requirements. Assuming it beats the DPS of nirnhoned + charged daggers with poison + fire enchants. Daggers did get a 2% nerf, so maybe.

i have a warden build that uses just damage over time abilities, three of which are class skills so the lightning staff ancient knowledge change benefits warden to me.
