Alliance Locked Help

So the Gray Host campaign has reset today and I want to use a different alliance character this next campaign but when I try to enter it says that Gray Host is locked to EP. I haven't entered on any EP characters in this new campaign. Anyone else had this issue? And any ideas how to sort?

Any characters that are EP that have greyhost set as their Home campaign, need to have their home campaign changed to BR or whatever other campaign you want, before you will be able to enter greyhost on a non-EP character.

You may need to check all of your characters. It is a long-standing bug that characters can get homed to a campaign without your knowledge or permission. For some reason the friends that have had it happen to them say it has only happened with EP characters.

I've now taken every EP character into Black reach and set it to Home campaign. Then tried to go into Gray host on my DC character and it says it's alliance locked to an EP character even though I've not entered since the reset.

Is this a known bug? Am I forever locked to EP?

It will tell you if it's still locked because of a certain character.

Yes it does but that character isn't in or hasn't been in Gray host for this campaign since the reset.

Mmh considering that some campaigns and their score boards didn't reset properly might be the same problem with characters

Ok I've figured it out. When I change my home campaign for the EP characters to Blackreach, it asks to Join Now, you must pick Yes and that then confirms the change. Once I did that on all EP characters then it lets me enter Gray host on a DC character
