Cannot verify file integrity on Steam

I'm experiencing stuck 'queues' upon login, so I tried to do a file check via Steam - and the needed button is unresponsive, with a message about ESO using 'third-party software'... There wasn't anything like that last week. What happened?

You need to check on the launcher. There is a repair button there. The one on steam I think stopped working for ESO since the steam update recently.

Already did a launcher repair before trying the Steam verification, didn't help.

I think Steam means that you are one party, Steam is another party, and ZOS is the third party. They're saying that ESO's game updates are managed by ZOS, not by Steam.

As for now versus last week, there seems to have been an update to the Steam client, because there are a number of subtle yet noticeable visual changes in the appearance of the Steam client.

The login issues and queue from this period should now be resolved. For this reason we will be closing the thread from further posts.
