I love you has a bit of a back story for your character. I do too for all mine, and I find it helps me enjoy the game more.
Also, it seems - to me at least - that your pictures are fine in quality. If you would like to center your character more in the screen or to show more of their leggings/feet etc, there is Camera sub-menu under your Settings menu, there you can tweak various things. I know I've modified mind significantly, both for taking screenshots and general play.If you can be anything, be kind.0 -

Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis1 -

I saw this as a challenge and as my main char, my sorceress has a cousin in the Ebonheart Pact, of course she is as sweet and gentle as my main. Believe it or not

I recently made one but she has that slightly angered look you're talking about even though that wasn't my intention..she isn't sweet though so it works.
Here's her in some freshly stolen gear...nobody was stocking pants at the time but I kind of like that look on her, if the bottom was longer it would be perfect.

MamaDruid✭✭✭On the topic of creating non-angry looking Dunmer characters - it's certainly a challenge! I found this screenshot of a mostly friendly-looking Dunmer I was working to create. Perhaps the partial slider info can lend some insight? I'll follow up with the Dunmer I did create. She looks non-angry most of the time.

MamaDruid✭✭✭Here's my mostly non-angry Dunmer. As you can see in the top right, she can look a bit derpy in the right light. And in the bottom right, she shows us that she can look angry when she feels like it.

MamaDruid✭✭✭I've been playing since the week before launch and my highest level character is in her early 40s. I am pretty sure I spend more time creating characters than playing the game. I recently started using the Photographer addon, which means I don't have screenshots of all the characters I've ever created. Regardless, there's plenty to share. I play on both North American and European servers.
I'll start with Imperials. This is my highest level character, Glenice, an Imperial Templar. I like that she looks older. I like to think she lost her family and took up arms as she has nothing to lose now. I gave her a turned up nose because the Imperial noses can be ginormous! It's also a bit like my nose.
This Imperial was a beauty attempt. I was pleased with the results. She served as storage for some time and then made room for someone else. She could have been a young Glenice!
Lately I've been messing around with creating hybrids. These are a few attempts at a Nord + Redguard combo, using Imperial. The two on the right are nearly identical and look more Redguard, I think, with the one on the left looking more Nord (due to the hair?).

MamaDruid✭✭✭Another hybrid attempt with this Breton. I was going for an Altmer + Breton combo. She didn't stick around, leaving me with zero Bretons. I guess they aren't very interesting to me.
The one and only Argonian I'll have. She originally was Onibla, which is albino reversed. She now has a proper lore name: Clouds-in-Eye. She's a "witchy" caster nightblade.
This is Tayazil, my thieving nightblade. Her name is Hittite for theft. The one on the right is her second iteration. I'm not sure it'll stick. I've seen a lot of cool looking cats in this discussion.
I've created several Redguards, but this is the only one that has any screenshots. The one on the left was in Daggerfall and the right Redguard was in Ebonheart. You can do so much with Redguards, but I keep returning to this one. For some reason, the jewel on her forehead disappears with the hood.

MamaDruid✭✭✭Now for the Mer folk, minus the Dunmer I posted earlier.
The Altmer on the left is my first character, a Sorcerer. I think she's 25 now. I've lost interest in her. On the left is a concept I was working on for a Templar. There's so many pretty Altmer running around I wanted to try something different. The scarring and eye patch makes for a more interesting story.
All the Bosmers I have created were Sorcerers. I want a "hunter" Bosmer focused on the summoning skill line. She's an archer, and a thief. For the life of me, I can't settle on a look for her! Behold, my many attempts. The bottom middle, with the red hair, was a hybrid attempt at a Bosmer + Dunmer combo.
My current main Orsimer is Grusha gra-Tukmek. She's a Bosmer + Orsimer combo, a nightblade Wood Orc in the Dominion. While I play her, I am nagged by the thought that I should create an unarmed/one-hand+shield Sorcerer Orc. Le sigh. At this rate, I'll never have a veteran-ranked character.
A few more Orsimer I've created. The top left is a Redguard + Orsimer combo. I think her eyes could have been a little more squinty.

These are mine. Clearly, I can't decide between a classic or rugged/barbaric look. My Nord will be a two-hand wielding Sorcerer. The different looks here represent a going-with-the-gut creation for Goodis of Aroodis on the left. The name is an inside joke in our family—a goodis is a very large person, not fat, just a large, thick person. On the right we have two versions of the same matching-the-name creation for Snegurka, which means snow maiden. The top right is smaller and more pale. Her small frame didn't feel right when rushing at enemies while wielding a giant two-hand weapon. The bottom right is larger and looks/feels right with that 2-hander (as does Goodis on the left).
Latest attempt at blending the classic and barbaric look while maintaining a match with snow maiden as a meaning for her name, Snegurka. We've got the classic hair, plain face, and some runic body tats. She's large enough to reasonably wield a 2-hander. I like this one!
