Which class is the best compare to the new amulet?

Velotni-ur mage the new mystic amulet which seems to be the new powerful one for many classes. I know people already saide Templar and Arcanist are good users of it as they have channeling spells.
How about others , I am interestied in performance of Nbs with this amulet.
Anyone could tell me about this

The new mythic amulet is strong for every class. But considering the existing penetration and critical damage cap, it is clear that those classes lacking passive skills that grant these two buffs receive the biggest boost (like DK), while those who already have passive skills with these two receive less (like NB)

I disagree. You can build around that. For example, on live server I have to almost always take sharpened maces/mauls when SOLOing Bosses. With this amulet, I can take precise daggers. Or I can use some different sets or different weights than before.

The Velothi Ur amulet opens up a lot of build options.

You can adjust your build around the amulet yes. It is very powerful in solo situations. But remember the caps is always there and both of them can be easily reached in a well-organized team

Since it eliminates light attacks as a damage source, I think it is safe to say the amulet is not intended for group play. At least not the competitive side of group play.

Energy Overload is like 20% of my damage in PvP. I'll be using other mythics on Sorc.

I would disagree, Nightblades have the bow proc which needs to be built by doing the light attacks. Might as well use LA sets when you already have to do the mechanics. (Speaking from a PvE perspective in trifecta content).

Yeah , I am also thiking the same question for NBs as how much dps they will loss and can NBs still on par with other classes by equiping the amulet while using the assassin focus at the same time.

could be an option on non-overload sorcs, frags has a cast and travel time and running meteor/atro instead of overload will get use out of the mythic.

If you run overload on sorc though, I would steer clear of this mythic.

I can't see this being that great on any light armor character, due to light armor already giving a massive boost to pen. It is also taking away several buffs that you gain with Oakensoul that I feel are much better than what I'd get with Velothi. If you have low crit chance, the crit damage buff with Velothi won't do much good if you're not getting crits.

I just don't see the value of losing all the buffs from Oakensoul, having to return to a bar swapping sweaty rotation to regain some buffs you lose with replacing Oakensoul, just for a teeny tiny increase (or possible break even). Based on what I saw of Deltia's video, he gained 9/s difference in a vet dungeon clear using Velothi's vs Oakensoul. However, he certainly was a lot more "sweaty" just getting there.

Perhaps this would be more useful on a Medium armor Stam build, but I just don't see myself using it as I tend to run Oakensoul one-bar builds on all my characters- and I rarely use HA builds except against major bosses. I have no desire to return to a sweaty rotation for minimal gain for my effort.

i do run (kind of specific*) magblade for fun in pve with elemental succession, overwhelming surge and ilambris - if it is not much of a trouble will go get that necklace (if it is not much nerfed) for live servers after playing for half an hour on pts.

* breton and depending on LA only on execute...

I don't see it as a class thing, perhaps more of a build thing. Because some mythic I think are already better for some classes. That's why things like this are fun and all however they really won't work better than other mythics for every class.

Some will argue and some will press their luck but in the end watch and see players coming back to the forums talking about how this isn't working for them.

It is sort of ridiculous that this mythic affects Overload, an ultimate.

I agree, overload is not standard light attack, it costs ressources, it's a skill and so should not be reduce by this mythic
Also the cp which increase the damage of light attack should not increase the damage of overload

Read the patch notes. The new amulet is now probably useless lol. Zos wants you LA practicing instead of playing the game.
