What actually is ERROR 307 and why am I the fall guy? PS4
Almost every time I do any crafting work I get this message...
ERROR 307
Booted From Server
And then of course I get booted! It's starting to get a tad tedious, beyond a joke.
I'm playing on PS4
This has happened to me also when I have been crafting many potions at the Alchemy to learn Alchemy Traits and to level-up the Alchemy skill tree for new characters. I seem to remember that ZOS provided some explanation as follows: One is crafting so rapidly that the ESO server does not have time to update properly. Then BANG, the server thinks something must be wrong, and you get booted. I do not know if that is correct, or not. However, after reading that, I now split leveling-up Alchemy (for new characters) into three sessions. Since then, I no longer get the Error 307 "boot," whereas when I did it all in one session I always did.
You might also try disabling most add-ons prior to your crafting sessions. (Does PS4 have add-ons?)
Thanks for dropping by with your thoughts and suggestions. It doesn't look like I'm going to get much joy from the ESO bods. So every idea might hold some merit.
Regarding PS4 no there are no add-ons to dismantle or put on hold.
"crafting so rapidly that the ESO server does not have time to update"
As for splitting up your tasks into smaller amounts. Well, I use the quick system provided by ESO, which is to hold down the square button, type in the amount you require and punch the X button. Using this method I can complete each laborious task with just a couple of clicks, with amounts possibly in the hundreds.
This suits me fine. As I have never mastered the art of typing with all my fingers. Ergo I'm a one fingered typist, I am unable to watch the screen while my fingers dance across the keyboard at an alarming rate. I tend to type head bent over the keyboard, whilst laboriously searching for the keys to stab. So, no not very fast.
Perhaps the server gets bored with my slowness and shuts me down because it just can't take anymore. I must say, I know the feeling!.
