Ongoing random ping on PC NA from Australia

I have had this issue appear before and it resolved but now it's back. My ping generally sits around 220ms but this week has randomly been jumping above 500ms before maxxing out at 999+ and I am kicked from the game.

I have flushed DNS, power cycled all equipment etc and done every possible local troubleshooting issue. This issue is not related to my home hardware nor my ISP. No other traffic is impacted in anyway. Nobody on the local network is doing anything traffic wise that could possibly impact ESO.

I have been trying to troubleshoot this via a support ticket but found out this morning that my PING issue ticket has been inexplicably merged with a GPU driver crash issue and closed as a duplicate. I cannot reply or update the PING ticket.

This is Resource Monitor showing the latency for the ESO64.exe file. I have snipped the in game latency and overlayed it in this image.

I have also performed a PathPing to 198.20.200.1 for game connection/disconnect issues as per the KB. This clearly shows issues.

    My original ticket for the network ping issue was 230418-001305 but that was closed as a duplicate and merged in a GPU driver crashing issue with ESO under 230414- 001401.

    Game tries to load but I get kicked with
    Error 201
    Login failed. Please try again.......

    @ZOS_Bill After all of the above I tried logging in with a VPN connected to the US.

    Having been unable to get into the game once normally, I got in right away with a VPN and the game was playable unlike trying to connect normally.

    I'm from Brazil and started to have the same issue a few days ago, my ping in game is normally around 200 but now I'm getting that crazy packet loss, what is interesting is that in some zones in game it goes back to normal, but then if I port I get 400-600 ping with packet loss and 999+ spikes, really weird.

    I have worked through all of these and more but still facing random networking issues. I am at a point where the game will let me login on a couple of characters to train horses but if I try and login to my crafter I get kicked out 3-4 times with Error 334 (3:1:1197:0) before I can finally login.

    To make it worse there are zero networking issues experienced with any game other than ESO. No other game disconnects, refuses to allow login or lags out; just ESO.

    Similarly with the graphics card issue that I have been having, it is only ESO that crashes my graphics driver. No other game invokes this error and no amount of GPU stress testing can invoke it but ESO will crash it regularly. AMD have told me they cannot help and I must take it up with ZOS.

    No other aspect of my internet is having any issue and my ISP has reviewed everthing I've provided here and more and said the issue is outside of Australia and outside of their control.

    I've had a delay in a planned fresh install of Windows and ESO but will do this to further prove the issue is not local to my configuration.

    The response here from @Abadd and a significant number of other posts about ping/latency/lag support that this is not some one off issue impacting a single Aussie ISP

    Yep, already did everything I could, even used pingplotter and the problem is definitely not on my side, server issue, I pinged servers from the same region and they're stable as normal, it's only in ESO, it starts at peak hours and gets back to normal by itself after some hours, I've been playing for years and this never happened, it's forcing me to play at later hours.

    It's probably some instability at peak hours that are only causing issues for people that live far from the server, maybe? My ping is always at 180-215 and was always been super stable, and then all of sudden this crazy packet loss starts and makes the game unplayable.

    However sometimes when I port from a zone to another, my ping gets back to normal as long as I stay in that zone, and then if I port again the packet loss returns, it's definitely not due to zone population since it also happens in houses, so no idea what that could be.

    @ZOS_Bill This issue has been happening to me on PC EU also (which oddly is the server closer to my location - I'm +- 2000km away from Frankfurt).
    My ping usually is around +-100ms on PC EU but in this past week the latency value has oddly increased to 400/500 on some days, 800/900 or even more on other days. On dungeons it's been getting even worse, yesterday I ran a dungeon where my ping was over 1200ms!
    Porting to other zones/homes sometimes reduces my latency but this "fix" it's becoming more rare to happen.

    My ping on PC NA remains the same as it was previously to this odd situation started on EU (+-200ms).
    Since this value remains the same, I think the issue can't be on my side.

    Can I do anything to solve this strange latency issue on PC EU? Because at this point it's unplayable.

    Exactly the same thing that has been happening to me, ping gets barely playable, then I port to random zones until I get one where it's normal, I really hope there's a significant amount of people having the same issue so they might look into this, because it's a problem on their end.
