Xbox series X controller big issue

Hi guys, i'm trying to play eso with my xbox series x controller but i have many problems. I activated, obviously, gamepad mode in the settings and most of the layout works but:

1) when i press "start" (the 3 orizzontal line button on xbox controller), i have to press "A" many, many times to access inventory, skills, character and other menu..(i don't think its lag, its like it doesn't receive impulse by gamepad button)

2) during playing game, every time my character jump ("A" button) he attack at the same time! And everytime i have to loot something i can't because character attack istead of loot! it seems like "A" button is linked to interact/attack/jump and i can't change layout. I tried to remove all gamepad button on the assign menu but "A" always attack. It's impossible to change this setting here.

- I disabled gamepad mode, unplugged gamepad, erase "Live" folder and restart eso: nothing
- i enable accessibility mode: nothing
- i uninstalled eso and reinstalled: nothing

Have anyone the same issue? Can you help me?

Is your Xbox controller wired or wireless?

Do you have a second controller you can try testing with?

I have the same problem with the elite 2 controller wired and many others do too

I was having the same issue with both of my controllers.

Thank you for the update that this is happening with multiple controllers. One more thing to try is checking the usersettings file for ESO.

1. Navigate to C:\Users\user.name\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live.
2. Right-click on your UserSettings.txt file and select Properties.
3. Ensure that it is not set to read only. If the Read Only option is checked, uncheck it.

If the box is unchecked and the issue persists, delete your usersettings.txt file and restart the game.

@ZOS_Bill unfortunately, this did not work. I also uninstalled/reinstalled and it doesn't fix anything.
