PVP - Cyrodiil.

It seems as soon as I reach any battle with many players, my session freezes, then I get kicked out. 'Please contact "help.elderscrolls.online"
Trying to login - 304 error account already logged in. I was on for less than an hours.

My ping, cpu, ram - all looks good.

Good times.

As mentioned in this article, waiting for a period of 15-20 minutes before attempting to log in again should be able to resolve this issue.

This is not a reasonable expectation. Waiting what is essentially an eternity in-game means most will simply walk away. Are you guys actively trying to repel players?

    Hi ZOS_Bill,

I appreciate the response. And also realize, there are probably many reasons why this happens.
In agreement with @blktauna waiting 15-20 minutes to re-enter is a a log time, along with getting kicked out.

    1) do we know the reason for the 15-20 minute wait to return?
    2) is it being worked on?
    3) maybe the fix is not worth the effort (ie too much cost, tech does not exist, or 'that is just the way it is' - I just want to know.

I love the game and want to have a better experience, and work with ZOS to make it better.

    Thanks,

    Z

When Error 304 occurs, it can sometimes take a bit of time for the server to register that your character is no longer in game, so it won't allow you to log back in right away. While it is recommend to wait for 10 to 15 minutes, this error can often resolve itself quickly within a minute or two. This is not an error being worked on because it is simply caused by the server still thinking your character is logged in and taking time to register that this is no longer the case.
