Hiding vampirism option

I think it’s worth adding the ability to hide vampirism, it looks especially ugly on animal races, in which even the fur turns white and it looks, to put it mildly, ugly, you have to look for "plug" in the form of skins, which are only a lesser evil

I never understood why in elder scrolls vampire khajiit are white. It's not like anyone else gets white hair... their nose changing color makes sense but everything else is just... odd. Plus I think player redguards still suffer from whitewashing.

But regardless, I agree. Even if it has to be in the form of a skin just... not one with facial markings. I have to hide maormer fish scales under a mask.

Be nice if the skins for vampirisim took into account your race. How it works ingame is it's one skin for everyone regardless of man, beast, or mer, and that's why Khajiit and Argonians bleach white, and the Elven races get human eyes.

Well white fur isn't actually white, its translucent, it appears white because of light reflecting off it. So really it works the same, pale skin or white fur lacks pigment. Vampirism used to be able to camouflage it in the old days when quest costumes would revert your skin back to the original color.

Been asked about forever. A dev even made a twitter post years back expressing interest in making a skin that reverts back to your normal appearance but nothing has been done. Seemingly it's just something ZOS doesn't care about even though there is player interest.

Why do something that's probably simple to create and will make you lots of money from all the people who don't want to look at ugly vamp anymore when you can just keep churning out low-quality skins nobody cares about?
