Ok, so the patch notes state that the NPCs are smarter again... and at first, I thought - yeah they actually do seem smarter.
But nope, they're still as dumb as ever.
I think it's a patron thing. Each update the NPCs tend to favour a new patron but they find it impossible to bring all four together.
Anyone else?

✭✭✭✭✭they are smarter, but mostly with tavern purchases
i was playing some NPCs yesterday and there were times the NPC actually prioritized buying a tavern card over using the treasury to convert a coin to a writ
i wouldnt say they are significantly smarter than before, but they are definitely a tad smarter with the tavern at least2
