Migration to steam issues

Hi there. Finally i decided to migrate to steam. I have ESO account with hundreds of hours i played.
And today i bought The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Necrom (LTO) (Pre-Purchase) (base game + all chapters + necron).
Installed it via steam and tried to link my existing ESO account.
I read at the support page that "Note: only one ESO account can be linked to a Steam account." and since i have only 1 ESO account it's ok for me.
I did everything step by step from manual about how to link accounts.
So i tried and miserably failed...

First of all i looked for help in already existed topics at the forum and found that ZOS is extremely unfriendly with players in terms of issues about accounts linking (sometimes players are waiting for response for months).
This is the result below. I cant link my existing account. So i have 2 choices: forget about my characters and hundreds of hours i played or forget about money i spent on steam (because steam doesn't return money for ESO). Right? Not funny.

I forgot about one thing, i linked my steam account to the eso account on the web years ago like twitch etc, i thought maybe it's issue with this so delinked it (with intention link again and i can't do this). I'm frustrated, nothing is working, nothing about what i can what i can't is explained. Just errors with general texts.

damn you can move an existing eso account from their website over to steam? that is news to me but that is pretty neat hahah

Thanks mate. Not just move, you have to buy ESO in steam at first and then you can link steam version with existing ESO account.

You can read here, but as you see sometimes you have issues with this

yeah seeing the fact i have to buy this game again on steam just pisses me off
im not spending anymore money to play a game i should have access to after buying it on the *** site
