You probably have much more crit. As far as I recall, ZOS lists the amount of crit above 50%, so 65% really means 115%. How? For example:flguy147ub17_ESO wrote: »So i am a Khajit with Order's Wrath, Shadow Mundus Stone and dual wield with one axe. By my calculations it should be 12 + 8 +11 + 6% = 37% extra damage and should be 87% total crit damage. But my character sheet in advanced stat is showing only 65% crit damage. So obviously how i am calculating it is incorrect. What am i doing wrong here with my calculations? Thank you

Khajiit 12%
NB 10%
6x Medium Armor 12%
Order's Wrath 8%
Shadow Mundus, all Divines 17%
Axe 6%
Blue CP 8%
Total: +73% = +123% including your 50% base crit. You could easily be at +115%.
However, since he's asking in the PvP section of the forum, it's worth noting that there is effectively no crit damage cap in PvP. There is, but people have 20% base resistance and Rallying Cry is prevalent. This raises the effective cap to where you never run into it, certainly not as a single player. Furthermore, if you are a nightblade (and what Khajiit isn't ), you get one guaranteed crit from stealth. You're also just hoping your burst randomly crits. Decent crit in the 35% to 45% range is useful. High crit in the up to 70% range that tends to be meta for a PvE DD is generally not. You CAN make that your playstyle, but really only by wearing Mechanical Acuity. I would say the Shadow mundus is, by and large, better in PvP for crit-centric builds. Not the only option, though. Penetration or raw weapon / spell damage also works, or simply a balanced build with a bit of everything. You're just looking for whatever gear has the most bang for the buck right now, such as Sea Serpent, if you can live with the speed penalty.WrathOfInnos wrote: »125% is the max. You may not be over now, but you could easily end up over if you use anything with Minor Force (Barbed Trap, Accelerate, various sets). Also need to be careful if you are in a group, since Warhorn gives 20% crit damage and Elemental Catalyst another 15%.
Generally it is better to use Thief mundus and daggers to avoid any issues, and both do great damage.
