How do I switch pvp campaigns without paying in 2023?

Seriously, help me please. Grey Host and Blackreach both end in like 4 days and I dont want to have to pay to join the new campaigns after that.

-I have 3 characters from Aldmeri with Grey Host set to home.
-I have one Daggerfall character with no assigned campaign.
-I have one Ebonheart character with Blackreach set to home.

I want the three Aldmeri characters out of Grey Host. Do I need to choose to join Black Reach now or is it safe to wait until the campaign ends?

I also want to get one of the other two into Grey Host. How do I ensure I won't be charged to join the Grey Host campaign? It's currently telling me I have to pay 150000 Alliance points to join the Black Reach campaign.

I hope someone will respond to this because I'm seriously worried I'm gonna end up with a hot mess come reset where, at best, I end up paying 450000 alliance points to sort it all out.

i dont know the rules on changing exactly

i know your given at least 1 free home campaign change at the start of a new campaign, but ive also heard that it gives you the cost if you try changing more than once in 24 hours

i pretty much never change my home campaign, i leave it as blackreach all the time lol

Thanks man, that seems to be my experience to. Which means I'm looking at 300k ap MINIMUM just to switch my Grey Host team.

I could have sworn I put this on the Customer Support board. I think they moved it here? I really wanna hear from ZOS on this.

iirc u must abandon -use the "after campaign ends" in the toons u want out,then go to the toon u want to play when new campaign starts and set greyhost as home campaign

Thanks. I'm scared to hit that option because you have to choose "yes, I want to abandon the campaign" before it pops as an option- I've gone to the effort of getting my 3 AD characters tier 3 rewards the current campaign so i dont want to do abandon those.

I remember the times where you could just ask a (human) moderator in game what to do and they would help you instantly. I guess the times they are a-changin' ♪♬♫
