Hi. Want to propose the idea of having your own gardening. Let's say it will be a small field where you can grow your own flowers for alchemy or vegetables or fruits. To avoid speculation on this, introduce restrictions: field - will be a special collectible item that can be placed in any house on the account. Also introduce restrictions on the amount of collected resources, let's say 10 pieces per week, one resource (this should not bring down prices on the market). Perhaps this is not enough, but better than nothing - if you did not have time to run around the location during the week. Flowers and trees will need to be watered every day. Seeds will drop with a rare chance from flowers and mobs themselves. You can also create certain furniture, tools and costumes for this activity + one mechanic in the game. Add a skill line to make your garden grow faster and provide more resources. It is possible to make one daily quest for the character npc, for which you can also get a reward (seeds or resources). I would like to have a garden at home - it is useful and aesthetically beautiful. Share your impressions on this topic or make suggestions.

I’m more interested in just a decorative garden, though this would be fine as long as not watering the plants doesn’t make them die.

Not death but fewer resources. It is logical: if you devote little time to the garden, you get less resources from it :)

because being able to grow crimson nirnroot (which can only be farmed in one zone btw) would make life so much easier...

I would be down for either cosmetic gardens with any of the alchemical plants or a harvestable one* (within reason).
However very few homes have any sort of planter there's like the one in vvardenfell that I can remember so we really do need planters with dirt in them also for the plants we do have for raised gardens using the flowers that exist as furnishings now.

Having a Garden as a special furnishing that you can have one of within your home would be an incredible idea.

This could be utilized by having your Garden reset daily for harvest, with whatever alchemy reagents you planted.

yes, the idea is that it should be a restricted garden (item) to avoid speculation. But additional resources will benefit everyone.
