Game freezes and stop responding on startup

I wanted to play ESO after being gone for a while again but can't seem to get it working:/
Whenever I press play on the launcher I get to the Bethesda logo, until the sound glitches out and the game freezes and stop responding, according to my task manager.
I repaired, reinstalled, removed all mods, set up a Firewall exception, run it via administrator but still nothing... Any ideas what I could try as well?
