[ANSWERED] Any addon to log entire contents of chat window ?

I can't find any addon that saves the entire contents of the chat window to a log file. I know there are addons such as ChatLogger, but they don't save everything in the window. I want to save it all, including guild chats, any other messages, NPC conversations with me, etc.

Yes, that one saves everything. I just installed it, and I'll keep using it unless it starts doing something bad.....

There's one minor issue with rChat: it appears to have disabled the auto-minimise of the chat window. It used to auto-minimise after not being used for a while, but now it just stays open all the time unless I manually minimise it. I've mitigated this problem by making the chat window background completely transparent, but I still see the window's edges even after the chat text vanishes after the window is not used for a while.

Does anyone know if pChat has the 2 features (a) logging all text in the window to a file and (b) auto-minimise still works ?

pchat has a toggle option if you want to allow the chat to auto minimize or prevent it from minimizing

personally i hate the chat window being minimized at all, the only time i still usually see it get auto minimized is going into a ToT match (after the match starts i usually immediately open it back up anyway)

rChat is a copy of pChat so pchat should have pretty the same features as rChat (maybe rChat got some newer ones, or more) but text copying and showing the history was in pChat all time, yes.

Unsure on whether it saves addon stuff, but there's a built-in chat log command, /chatlog , which I believe saves everything, including stuff not in your current tab.

Thanks, @Necrotech_Master and @Baertram , that's exactly what I hoped for. I'll switch to pChat and enable the auto-hide. Thanks, @M0R_Gaming , it's a useful suggestion, but I prefer to have the chats saved automatically.
