Looking for advice on a PvP DK group healer build

I love playing a healer in Cyro, so I'm trying to build a PvP healer for every class. So far my warden is my absolute favorite and most fun to play with out of my lvld toons. I'm currently trying lvling my dk (at lvl 38) and I'm kinda at a loss on what sets to put on. DK are not really known for their amazing heals, but their tankiness, which is why I thought it would make for a fun experimental healer. I have a stam DK built, battle sword and bow, and he is really fun to play in battlegrounds which is another reason why I'd like a dk healer.

Any DK healers out there who can suggest a good set to just run around solo following groups in Cyro? Thanks in advance.

Naga Shaman goes well with Frag Shield, and Winter's Respite goes well with Ash Cloud, if you're using either of those. I know DK Healers that have used them in the past, not sure if they still do. Naga Shaman is a bit inefficient in the unlikely event you're using Green Dragon Blood, since they both give Minor Vitality.

Trinimac's Valor in theory goes well with Frag Shield, not sure how it holds up these days with its scaling.

Pearls of Ehlfnofey is tricky to use but Ult Gen is always good on a DK. I think that Mythic is best with Warden and Trees, on DK you'll lose uptime on it every time you use an Ultimate, but it's worth a look.

Aside from Magma Shield giving all nearby allies a strong shield DK is lacking in healer identity because the absence of buffs it can share with others from class skills, but having on demand access to major mending means you won't lack for heal power. So I'd look towards a setup that would let you buff people while you heal them. There's not really a lot of sets that don't specify "group member" as opposed to just allies, important since you run solo, so here's what I came up with.

    Phoenix Moth Theurge
(2 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
(3 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
(4 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
(5 items) Healing yourself or an Ally grants the target Minor Courage and Minor Force for 10 seconds, increasing their Weapon and Spell Damage by 215 and their Critical Damage done by 10%. This effect can occur once every 12 seconds per target.
    And:
    Spell Power Cure
2 items: Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
3 items: Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
4 items: Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
5 items: When you overheal yourself or an ally, you give the target Major Courage for 5 seconds which increases their Weapon and Spell Damage by 430.

    Thanks for the ping @gariondavey

So the DK healer is my favorite no-class healer because the DK healer functions best when you don’t run any DK abilities.

The class heals for your allies just don’t compare to other class’s or non class heals. So you’ll heal more when not using them.

Now they do offer a ton of utility as a secondary healer in a group. Snares, immobilizations and stuns. Fantastic!

In terms of builds, you can run the same build on all the classes. It doesn’t really matter in all honesty.

For what you’re looking for as a outside healer, running solo following groups, I’d recommend Oakensoul - Aetherial Ascension - Daedric Trickery.

Lots of defensive power and utility to help you survive on your own. And with Oakensoul, your heals will always be maxed out, full power especially when Major Mending procs on Daedric Trickery.

Normally I’d swap out Daedric Trickery for any support set but it’s pointless if you’re just healing random groups. Overlapping buffs that you don’t know what they might or might not have. Wasted effort to optimize. You could do Spell Power Cure for the most healing power available but again, you are solo and gonna need that utility that Daedric Trickery offers.

Two Bar Builds are what they are.

Definitely check out my YouTube channel for all things PvP Healer related.
