What's the biggest reward you have gotten from hidden wallet?



I did have over 5k in one but didn't screenshot it.

i dont pickpocket much (usually only when there is an endeavor for it, i got really tired of it when i pickpocketed 1000 times in 2015 for the achievement, literally finished that achievement in <1 week after the thieves guild released lol)

out of the 2-3 wallets ive gotten i think ~250g was my best one

120 - 250 gold is what I usually get, never seen it as high as in the OP screen shot.

I have Ember out a lot - she's level 16 or 17 now and I have only ever gotten a few of those hidden wallets. Have had none for months. Is this bugged?

the bonus wallet is embers passive bonus (from keepsake or having her active) that you get while pickpocketing (and only pickpocketing)

if you dont pick pockets regularly you wont see them

Once you have this keepsake your attempts to pick pocket per mark (target) increases by 1; therefore you can get up to 4 successful attempts.

it’s almost always low level gold.

i’d rather turn it off and have a chance at getting better like a furnishing plan or purple treasure.

the wallet is not guaranteed, sometimes i do 3 picks and then the target is empty, other times it lets me do a 4th pick because i either got a wallet on pick 1-3, or the 4th pick is a wallet

if you get a wallet in the first 3 picks, your absolutely going to have a 4th pick available

if you dont get a wallet in the first 3 picks, you have to wait to see if the NPC becomes "empty" or if it has a pick chance (guarenteed to be a wallet)

I also think hidden wallets can only be pickpocket. So if they would have had a wallet on first pick and you kill them, the wallet goes away and you get what they would have had if you didn't have hidden wallet perk. And if they would have had a wallet on 4th pick, you get nothing from corpse if killed. At least, I have never gotten a wallet from a corpse and I have blade of woe'd a lot of NPCs if the chance was lower than I like.

Also, hidden wallet doesn't seem to reduce chance of next pick. So the 4th pick, if you get one, is same chance as 3rd pick.

Wallets are random. I personally have gotten them off npcs after using BoW.
