anyone have a guide or smart way to get rest of skyshards for Cyrodiil

i have most of them but the upper corners of the map, Im not sure how to go about it

the ones behind enemy gates are the hardest ones to get nowadays, usually the best way to try to get them is going into cyro and hoping you have an ally group trying to take enemy scrolls (since they have to open the gate to do so)

not like the old days back in 2014 when there were plenty of empty camps that each faction "owned" all the time making it easier to get lol

As Necrotech stated they are behind the enemy gates so you have to wait until those gates are breached. Best way IMO is to just check Gray Host, Raven Watch, and Blackreach campaigns especially during prime times. It doesn't matter what campaign you get them on. Same goes for other things like daily endeavours etc.

I've managed to get them all on a couple of characters - but not when I planned on it. I was just in Cyro doing pvp stuff when the alert went up that a gate was opened, so I hauled it up and managed to them.

It really is just a case of lucky timing.
