Fighter/mages guild quest

The semi boss you fight at the end in the fighters/mages guild is to hard. I have green gear and blue weapons im lvl 7 and i cant beat either of the bosses, please help.

    Mage guild boss you need to keep moving around. Ranged skills are best as my sorcerer had no problems defeating him.

    And this is after they nerfed them some :)

    Tactics are your friend with these fights and if you get stuck I'm sure you can look up the methodology of these bosses.

    Bosses are supposed to be hard! That's the point of a game!A Video game is meant to have obsticles and challenges! WIthout challenge who would purchase a game? LOL :)

    Mage Guild one is Gutripper? Its very easy....avoid his charge at all costs & block or avoid his tail whip. The /tells are very easy to see..
    red circle on the ground = tail whip
    red rectangle - charge.
    - Just get out of the red areas & it should be easy enough.

    Fighters Guild is a little harder and requires at least some decent DPS.
    In the beta I was able to interrupt his transformation, meaning he died pretty fast, but requires the ability to tank or avoid the summoned minion (if he summons one...like I said, this happened in the beta & might have changed).
    If he transforms, you must keep him pretty much center of the room to provide you enough time to see the orbs that come to his location. You must kill these orbs before they reach him as they will heal him. When the orbs come, you can take some hits as you will be healed when you kill them.
    You must also avoid the 3 pronged ranged attack at all times, as it will CC you and provide him more time to close in on you or for the orbs to reach him.

    Provided you are killing orbs,, you should not die. The faster you kill them, the less that reach him & the faster the fight ends.
    If you are struggling with HP problems, use the terrain to gain some distance. The mobs will follow a path (steps/ramps) while you can just jump a little wall/platform. This will buy some time to regen HP or use a HP pot.

    I remember in beta I found that it seemed I gained HP from the orbs that she intends to heal her. Recommend focusing on destroying the floating orbs before they touch her and only striking her when there are no orbs. She'll go down eventually. Better yet, buddy up with someone.

    Play in third person; it makes a world of difference.

    Mages guild fight is pretty easy right now really. You don't really need 3rd person view whatsoever. Greens are also more than enough (did today on level 8 with only white items + green rings and one blue necklace for epic quest). Just watch for aoe if you are melee and avoid mobs charging (after which you have few seconds to nuke it as much as you want to). Other than that 10-20 seconds fight right now for level 8 templar.

    As long as you pay attention and have enough stamina to dodge then melee is also great. Depends really on a player right now.

    An easy way to cheese through the fights is to get the fighters guild Silver Bolt as both are Daedra.

    How can you get some XP to progress the fighters guild? Silver Bolt would be nice, as staff seems rubbish at fast target switching.
    Looking for a mature and helpful social guild - play PvE, PvP, and like crafting.

    Well for the mage guild quest, I just ran around a table...Quite literally, I was running around the table sandwiched between the two pillars near the stairs you use to enter the 'arena', because there is a small gap between the table and far end pillar that you can just fit through but gutripper canta and he can't attack over the table, or just jump over it. But you need a bow or staff to be doing damage efficiently. If you are going melee, it can provide a little bit of time to heal as you run back and forth.

    For doshia, the easiest way is to stun her once those orbs comes out and pick off the orbs one by one.

    There are a lot of cases where you see visual cues (avoid a charge or AOE); these are simply easier to see in 3rd person. If someone is having issues with quests it could be that the cues are outside their field of view (which happens to me a lot in 1st person.) I like 1st person, but for challenging encounters I find it far, far easier to step back and get a tactical view of the battlefield. Even knowing that this is an option can be valuable.

    I wish people would stop saying to Buddy Up for this quest. All the fighters/mages guild quests and the main quest line is solo, which makes no sense for an MMO. They should at least give us a choice to do it solo or not. Choices are good. We all win. But forced solo doesn't work for me.
