Stucked on infinite limbo falling

Yes, thats what you read. I was walking through Indoril Crypt then, for no reason, I started falling beneath the ground, on a infinite red and black limbo, my hero is screamming and falling to nowhere. Can't do anything, just rotate the camera and watch my hero falling into this eternal limbo.

This happened to my husband. I think the only way is to either completely quit the game or use /stuck (which kills your character) and then respawn at the nearest wayshrine.
