its going to cap out at like 5200ish dmg, and will no longer be able to chain due to a 1 sec cooldown, so it should be fine with the nerfs

because it cant chain, it wont be as useful for bombing, unless it helps you get that first kill to keep carrying VD/plaguebreak the rest of the way

I probably don't see myself using this star any longer after the nerf.

As others have said, it's not so much the halving of the damage but the cooldown that is the most limiting.

So if on a night of organized group play (or maybe if you're a good solo bomber) you currently have 1 million in OO damage, chances are it will be dropping down to like 150k or possibly even less. Ironically, the better that you are at bombing, the more that the nerf will affect you.

.....yep the damage got nerfed BUT still got a huge BUFF since they removed the CAP on it and added a new effect as well so tbh bombers are hitting even harder now https://youtu.be/qPeo6nk_QF0
