Well done Zenimax

Matt.vanelsenb16_ESO
I've gotten to play the game since noon now and I must say, I'm very impressed with how good of a job they've done with ensuring this was a smooth early access. I had 0 login problems, didn't experience a single bit of latency in several hours of gameplay and I'm enjoying the heck out of the game. There's nothing more that I can ask from any video game. I don't care what the critics say, this is a good game. (I just felt like this was a necesarry thread after the barrages of negative feedback on the game.)

Itll still get negative lress and there will still be people who hate it but honestly the game and forums are much better without those people.

Most people complain of the game because they want to find arguments why shouldn't they play it. In truth, they like the game, but the price tag and the sub model scares the most arguing there are better F2P games out there, not realising that this is the right model for a long lasting MMO. Their loss, the game is great, and I think the community will be better without that kind of people. I just hope they won't switch to F2P and drown the game in the sea of those inproperly developed games.

I love the game as well. I originally purchased it because of the Lore not so much for the MMO effect though. But when I heard that this game was gonna be online it almost killed me. Im so thrilled to be playing this and can't wait to see what they do in the future.

Opinions are an interesting thing OP , people can have different ones , but nobody is really wrong or right.

Still , im sure the guys that manage the forums are happy that people liked the game they are working with.

I still had no chance to play , i cant decide on a class with the headache i got right now...

You poor baby, I am a headache/migraine sufferer myself and nobody who does not get it knows how horrible that is.

But never mind, I think there are still some teething problems anyway. I just made all my chars (so I get my names reserved lol) and am now sitting tight waiting for better days. I get so much lag that I cannot play.
Maybe it is my computer, don't know. Getting a new one delivered some time this week.

I'm one of the lucky ones, also with a clean start.
Been here since Feb 2014 - You'd think I'd be half reasonable at this game by now...

Great start, no lag, no issues, no queues, no crashes, smooth gameplay at least for me. Have not encountered any buggy quests, yet from what I saw in the chat the problem with quests being unable to be finished still persists.

I love ever aspect of the game. I can understand some peoples critic of the game but to me its pretty much everything I wanted and have been looking around for a game to play since quitting Rift over a year ago and nothings floated my boat until I played my first ESO beta way back.

I've had a few issues since launch but nothing major. Had 3 crashes yesterday, 1 silent and 1 with error and after 12 hours in-game I started to see a little loot lag and then I crashed again. I never crashed once in Beta, ever! Other than that, its been one of the smoothest launches I have ever played.

I really do feel sorry for people having issues because I know how let down I would have felt if those things were happening to me but I've always been Empathetic like that! So do try to cut them some slack unless they are full on hating and Obvious troll is obvious as they say.

I am hoping the events stick to the lore. All the holidays and goings on they have at certain times of year would make this very, very cool.

Maybe all the headaches the 'stress test dummies' had a good outcome after all, eh? It was pretty rugged at times, but the result... well, it looks pretty darn good!

This is definitely the best MMO ever. WOW, eat our dust!

I am very pleased with the game so far. I took part in the BETA and I noticed a notable difference between them; reason why people shouldn't judge so early.

I have encountered few bugs myself and am enjoying the environments and smaller things to pass the time; fishing, foraging, etc.
The quests feel natural and not like a grind, like in other MMO's I have played.
I generally love getting lost in adventure and encountering quests and such.

There will always be someone who will complain for the sake of complaining, unfortunately.

I was a little upset when I saw some of the quest bugs found during beta hadn't been fixed... But in general I can't complain, things seem to run better and less laggy than most MMO's that have a much longer history...

Considering how many game breaking bugs exist I'd say this is not a smooth launch.

I didn't get to play in the beta so I don't know how much it's changed but so far my experience has been negative in that I've had many immersion breaking and progression breaking bugs and some glitchy NPC experiencing.

I'd be surprised it if gets higher than a 6.5/10. It's got some great things going for it but the fact I paid $110 au for an MMO and it feels like an unpolished beta is seriously disappointing.

I've run across 2 quests (related to the Queen) that glitched on me; in the first case relogging fixed it. In the second, abandoning quest and waiting 10 minutes fixed it. I've had no other glitches at all; so your experience is not universal.

I think they made a good work on the servers to have the best possible performance in the game. But I also think a lot of quest bugs still remains, Dark Anchors are not always working either and those should realy be worked on and fixed as soon as possible.

I have to say I am greatly surprised at how bug free my questing has gone since my early log in Sunday am. Sure there are a few glitches here and there, but much smoother than my Beta runs. And the lore and background are stupendous! If you do run into a bug there is sooo much else to do. They will get these fixed. Now my only problem is finding more time to play somewhere!

I've run across 0 bugs, lag, disconnects, anything. This is the best launch I've seen. From what I read on the forums here seems like lots of people using Macs are the problem or have a crazy rig setup. I run a simple i5 and gtx650 running on ultra.

The game has been generally great for me in every aspect. The more I play the more I enjoy.

My only regret is the issues notably with the Launcher which are still preventing some players from getting to player the game also. I do hpe these get fixed soon and we all get to share the fun.

    Yep yep, good post.

Also, people will complain simply because theyre bias towards another game. People who are gung *** into Wildstar bash ESO or any other MMO thats out or coming out. Its only natural to want to defend a game of your choosing. I know back in my early EQ days, when I tried other mmos while I still playing EQ, I couldnt get into them at all. Not one bit buuuuut I wouldnt bash the games how people do now :( This new generation is so wacked...
