Purple textures

I'm getting purple textures on random pieces of NPCs and players. I have reinstalled the game and updated my graphics drivers (Nvidia) to the latest version as well as restarted my computer, however I'm still experiencing purple textures popping up everywhere. In addition, now that I'm outside of the starting soul shriven area I'm starting to get random sound issues, like the sort of sound you'd hear if you tried to go onto an unrecognised channel on an old TV.
