Does this only proc if YOU personally get the kill in a group? If so, why do so many healer builds recommend putting Champion points into it?

i believe those only work if you get the killing blow, they are fantastic when running solo for sustain

if your in a 4 man group dungeon, it can still be somewhat helpful but you might not get as much use out of it if there are fewer adds or you dont actually contribute much dmg as a healer

usually from most of my experience, the quick rez cp (i dont remember the name) is pretty useful in groups, faster rezzing helps recoveries when a lot of people die
