I just came back to the game after a year-long break. I have dark elf NB, previously stam. I never had probléma to make good BG and IC/Cyro builds but now I stuck. Do anyone have a decent BG and / IC builds? Currently I run Stuhn, Markyn, Agility, Selene but this is not a good builds.

    This works quite well

    NB enthusiastic:
    1. Woodhippie stamblade - DW hard-hitter / PvE
    2. Know-it-all elf Magblade - Healer / PvE & PvP
    3. Hate-them-all elf Magblade - Destrostaff AoE monster / PvE
    4. Cyrodiil-Refugee stamblade - Stamina Tank / PvE

    Go dominion or go home

Nightblade-Hipster. I played Nightblade before it was cool - from 1.5 onwards.

I just came back after an 8ish month break as well.

I have literally no idea what the meta is anymore, but I've just been using my old EV and Stuhn set up and it seems fine. Havent even really changed any of my skills, so I'm basically still playing in 2021, but everything still seems fine?

I still hit ~2800 stam and 1600 mag sustain and about 7k weapon damage. I can kite forever and the bow proc is still nasty, provided I can get it off in the lag, which admittedly seems way worse than when I left. I do still die quite a bit more than I used to, but that's mostly attributed to user error and me making dumb decisions.

Stuhns isn't great for a few reasons. One the off balance cooldown might bite you in the butt. Two any damage who do before veiled strike won't benefit.

    Here's a suggestion.

Might Mother's Gaze applies major breach automatically on any target you crit on and will continually reapply. This bonus is basically the same as stuhns. The only reason you wouldn't use this is if you really really really want to run Mark, because both apply major breach, but running Mark Target is pretty niche now and I'm not a fan of telegraphing attacks.

OR if you're running any other skill that applies major breach, like caltrops, crushing weapon, etc.

Alternately if you really want to run a skill that applies Major Breach for you, you can run heartland conquer with sharp weapons on your front bar and get a buttload of pen. Meanwhile if your backbar is defending, powered, etc, you'll get double bonus from that too.

Just thoughts. You seem pretty happy with the current set up though.

I actually did switch it but to Stygian. Used to be I had time to proc it and poke around for a bit before going into my combo, but now it seems I have to be in and out so quick that setting it up was a hassle when outnumbered. Not to mention with the lag half the time suprise attack can't even land.

NMG I used once upon a time, and I did like it but I think I prefer the higher weapon damage and just getting my pen from balorg. With all the free/constant damage that seems to be out there these days too the better healing is nice too.

Thank you. And whats your opinion about Briarhearth or Calu? +450 weapon dmg sounds good with some healing, or the Calu is not a gank but a bit brawler set now.

I like stuhn's axe or axes personally, but I get the gripe, its not a high percentage of uptime. Meanwhile I think it serves its greatest purpose alongside balorgh to really hit high numbers.

I've seen only one NB still using Caluurions. With the current damage tooltip, the drawbacks over it greatly outway the damage, IMO. I've personally never like Briar but I'd have to know what you are paring it with.

No offense but the gearing on this is a bit weird. Vate 2h backbar if you are using forward momentum would make much more sense.
Sheer venom on the dw bar would make more sense too, as it is the only bar with an execute.
    The skills seem pretty solid.
