Honestly, it was more Plague Doctor vs Green Pact but I appreciate that you picked up on that.
Once upon a time, I ran both beekeeper and plague doctor. I even did vet trials with them- no complaints, only ever swapping to Ebon Armory for trials or dungeons when i felt the dps needed it. When people saw the red orbs and we'd wipe to one-hit mechanics where the boss needs to be bashed otherwise i die, I got complaints and gear recommendations that bugged me, so I stopped running visible sets. Then I decided- hey I might as well try out the yoln set and give my group some minor courage. Wow now minor courage is a passive on oakensoul that everyone (or at least half of everyone) is running, so I'm considering other options. I realize there's more tanking sets than stars in the sky but I'll always enjoy plague doctor. Health regeneration has always appealed to me, even if it's a "selfish" choice. As a sorc tank, my main heal is off the clannfear, which ofc scales off max HP, so there is that to consider.
@DocFrost72 with 8k regen- jesus. That's like having two permanent hots on yourself when everything you said is active, one permanent hot otherwise.

And max health is meaningless when all mechanics are either 100% HP oneshots or mild tickling.
