Tales of Tribute daily against NPC. Proficient NPC option bugged?

PS4 anyone else think this is bugged? When doing the daily ToT against NPC's when you are arriving to the spot where the three NPC's are, there are three white icons showing up as is normal in quests. But when you actually get there the "proficient" NPC's icon disappears and you can only play against the novice or expert.

I don't think it is.

I believe the intention is that for the daily you get the choice to play at your level or at novice. If you are at proficient level you don't get the option of expert, and if you are expert you don't get the option of proficient. Novice is always available

It's bugged. It was same thing in PC, but after update 35 there are all 3 options avaiable for daily quests.

Xbox had the same issue, it was fixed on Xbox with today's update. I can now select one of the three NPC's where the proficient was never an option .....

So it's intentional that you can play against higer lvl npcs during the daily but not when you're not doing the daily. Kindda weird.
