Is weaving still important?
Hi all,
I read in a update 35 article that devs want to make weaving not as important anymore. Very low extra dmg. Is this true?
Because I am thinking of returning to the game, but I suck soooo much at weaving no matter what I do, but I do like challenge... I am able to raid mythic in wow for example. But weaving? I dunno, to chaotic in my head to execute it properly, even after months of try. The muscle memory in my brain is dead or never been there

✭✭✭✭✭Learn to Weave slowly, then Speed will come. Start with one skill and a light attack combo on a training dummy. Then add in other skills.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

✭✭✭✭✭The developers messed up and nerfed everyone is the last update. Some classes more than others. But they didn't adjust content to compensate enough for the damage loss.
So now, even more than before, you need all the damage you can muster in order to clear content as you did before, and if there is any kind of DPS check you may be out of luck if you were on the bubble before.
So yes, you still need to weave, it's even more required than before for some content.4 -

We haven't got it on console yet, so I haven't gotten to test it personally, but it looks like some heavy attack builds really got a buff (although keep in mind that this patch was designed to take EVERYONE down several notches). So I'm excited to get on and experiment with several different heavy attack builds to see which one works best for me. I'm loaded up with over 1K transmute gems to be ready for it.0
