Should ToT wins all award the same amount of Points?

I have only gotten 110 or 210 for a ToT win, but others have reported getting up to 550. We have no explanation why these vary so widely. Should ToT games have a set amount they award each time?

I believe they should, at least until there is an explanation about how points are rewarded and what we need to do to gain them.

The point system is odd. Yes, I think you should get more points for a patron victory than a standard 40 + point win. Other than that, I think a win should be just a win. Is there a thread or tutorial somewhere that explains the point system?

I havent really played it much but it would be my guess theres a rank weight system for the points reward. Theres more on the table with higher ranked players and why you gain more for beating a higher ranked player. They likely also gain more for winning cuz they require it to progress at they're rank. Like theres a pool of points up for grabs based on who is in the match!

I think in the tiers below Rubedite it's fine to have a set gain/loss as that ranking system really only ever affects you personally, but in Rubedite where people are grinding for leaderboard position -- especially at the end of a season -- the current point system seems to work fine. It's much improved now that we have the +/- 150 RP cap, but the system does need some further tweaks, in my opinion.

For example, I've made a previous post about how winning 2/3 games against the same person at one point netted me a loss in RP and I don't think that should ever happen. I also don't think it should ever happen where a player wins a game and gets actual +0 RP. I get if the opponent is so far down the ranking system from you that you're hard favored to win you shouldn't be heavily rewarded, but you still put in the effort, played well enough to win, and should reap those RP rewards for that. I think a +25 RP base with an added RP bonus based on the current variance calculations would probably solve both these occurrences.

We need some transparency on how the points a player receives are calculated. It is very disheartening to win 2 games just to have it all wiped out with 2 losses, while others receive 2 and 3 times as many points for a win so they can lose 2 to 3 times the amount of games before it wipes out their progress.

Rubedite rank is much more enjoyable than the climb to get there. Reaching Voidsteel from Quicksilver this season was a real nightmare for me and the more I saw my progress being wiped out the less I wanted to play. But I was a player obsessed to get the Voidsteel trophy I wasn't awared last season. The missing rewards from the issues with update 35 were supposed to be awarded with the maintenance on the 7th, but they decided not to give the trophy furnishings.
