Templar help-->Oakensoul and Empower Sweeps

Oakensoul is good for me when doing solo vet dungeons (even after the nerf)

It get Empower now.

Empower only affects Heavy Attacks, right?

I love Empowering Sweeps because of the low cost. It grants Empower, but that is now redundant..

Or is it?

Anyone using this combo...or stick to DawnBreaker?

Magplar is useless now as dd even with oakensoul ring. My advice…switch to new class. Sorry to sound pessimistic but its the truth unfortunately. Until zos undoes what they did to Templar in U35…. It will be pointless

Nah they actually made heavies pretty decent in pve.

Clarification.
Is using OS and Emp Sweeps redundant?

ie. the Ultimate does damage, but since OS give Empower - that bonus is lost - so stick with another Ultimate ie. DawnBreaker

I am playing a Stamplar.

Yes, this patch is nerfy...but the Templar will persevere!

100% agree. u35 totally f**ked magplar. The templar's defining skill has been made into a mockery, both statistically and graphically. Jabs/Sweeps is now useless for damage output AND, graphically, looks like a f**king joke.

Revert templar to u34 and STOP CHANGING THE GAME, ffs.

Just switch to the Crescent Sweep morph. I too enjoy the very short cooldown, so that's what I've been using over Dawnbringer lately when soloing dungeons.
