Even though I play a Sorc Healer I like to use Summon Storm Atronach because 1.) It has great damage and AoE effects for Bosses in PvE 2.) In PvP it can be used to not only deal damage but also to block LOS of the enemy 3.) It's effects are easily understood by non-sorcerers.
