In the U 35, which class will be Viable for PvP??!

Wont matter what you playing if Mara's goes live. Will make every body unkillable. But i think Nightblade and DK will be top bois. Bow templars looking decent. Stamsorcs will be okay but always have that healing issue. Hard to keep alive outside of streak/mobility. Looks like to be competitive a lot of classes gonna be crutching on weapon skills outside their class kit with all these spammable nerfs.

Necro seems largely the same. Warden? Idk... guess you could make a stamden work and probably fairly well but again using a lot of skills outside class toolkit.

It's very easy to fall into the gloom and doom spread around by some people here and elsewhere. As has been the case every single major update, it's impossible to know how things will work on live until they actually go live.

There are also plenty of videos and posts out there like "Stam Sorc Completely Gutted!" or "Warden Will be Completely Worthless!" or similar. Those grab attention and get views. If the title were more like "Stam Sorc Isn't Going To Be As Powerful", it wouldn't get the same frenzied response.

Are the streamers and hype-peddlers right? We'll know in a week or two. Does it look bad for some classes right now? Sure. But I remember a time when Sorc had exactly one (1) class stam ability. People still played it and did well. This patch, however awful it may look or be predicted to be, a competent player can succeed with any class in PvP. Are some classes going to be better than others? Sure, but that's nothing new.

Bottom line: Relax, play what you want, be good at it, and have fun. Or don't.

It's not hate for NB here. Well; maybe a little tongue in cheek for IC. But with them nerfing DOTs, and HOTs, and adding a set that does 1k heal any time an effect is applied; when pressure and sustained healing are down, it will be burst healin and damage, and avoidance that wins even before taking into account class nerfs.

All classes will be viable in BGs and IC, but necro is clearly going to be best in slot for Tales of Tribute.

What you will hear is X class is weak from players that chase the ability to be OP and will jump from the current OP class to the new OP class.

If the devs release class change tokens they would make so much money from players chasing whatever is the current top tier class with each update.

I mean... even non FOTM players like myself still enjoy a class that isnt completely in the dumpster. For me, a well rounded class that isnt S tier rating is my favorite to play.

If your playing a class and know the toolkit of another class has everything plus some of the class your playing... why would you continue to struggle with the wrong tools for the job when you could pick something that has all the right tools for the job you wanna do?

The reason i never pick class that are meta of the patch cycle is its nearly guaranteed to get a huge nerf from ZOS.

I like to keep 2 or 3 classes battle ready. Not just to play what is best but to have variety. Its also great to play multiple classes in pvp. Nothing is going to help you learn how to counter certain classes better than playing and learning the class yourself.

Viable? All classes are viable if built and played well. Meta, Looking like DK, but who knows where we will be a month after the patch drops.

I will probably be ganking on my NB for LOLs and doing open world on my DK.

If you look at the pts forums everyone is upset about something for their class. So I would say they are all about equal.

It shouldn’t be blatantly overpowered but may actually be more fun to play. Artic being a more reliable stun and wings being race on crack is a good touch. The vigor changes make them better to being resist heavy. Paired with them being the only class with easy access to major and minor breach to counter the vigor resist buff aswell. Another indirect buff is how plague got nerfed and you won’t be punished for constantly reapplying netch when moving or repositioning. Just my 2 cents but just a wait and see thing.

... Sure nb will be viable, but its pretty unbelievable dk has less votes. I probably wouldn't vote for my own class either, but at some point you got to acknowledge the truth. Some good stuff for nb's, but for sure an overall nerf for gank blades. They basically removed calurion's from the game and light attacks down, so "WTF0MG I literally G0T 1 shotted1111!!!!" becomes much harder.
