Request: Acquire Cards

I'd like to see the function regarding acquiring cards (i.e. Oathman, Conquest) to be reworded/reworked so as to function as it does when destroying or removing a card in that one does not need to select a card if they do not desire to. On occasion the tavern has been full of cards that I don't desire and would like the option to leave alone rather than forced to acquire one in order to complete a card's function and move on with the game.

I am actually curious to know if this forced interaction was intended by the developers, or just an oversight. Is certainly a highly requested change, would have slight balance implications but I think it would be worth changing just for an overall smoother player experience!

Im on the fence about whether this would be a good change or not. Certainly thought about it but I sometimes end up in the situation where I have to make sure not to activate my Oathman or Hireling because I don't want to have to pick something up that wouldn't synergise with my deck.

I'm wondering if they did this intentionally to hurry games between human players along. It's not an issue with the npcs, since they ALWAYS seem to buy whatever card they can afford, even if none of them are good choices and it would be much smarter to pass. But if both players do this, the tavern could get stuck for quite a while if there are nothing but useless cards out.
