I'm sorry but the only thing you need to do to defeat any of the enemies in Coldharbour is stare at them and left click over and over.

This is hit combat, you have to contact the opponent with your weapon. For beginners to this, I would recommend grabbing the one handed sword and shield as your first weapons. When you get into combat hold up your shield (right mouse) until you get the rhythm of your opponents attacks, and swing at them between their attacks. Always get out of any red areas that appear on the ground.

Did they make the skeleton(s) stronger compared to beta? In beta, you more or less only had to hit them a couple of times (and the first - melee - skeleton ... I thought it posed no threat at all).

Good question; I've no access until Tuesday, so was assuming the skeletons were as nerfed now as they were in beta.

Well, there is a kind of tutorial that explain to you that you of to use left mouse to use your weapon, right click to use shield and both to block special abilities. Just don't skip everything that pop up on your screen

They are just the same, nothing hard to beat.

Can you read? Do you have an IQ higher than 30? If you answered yes to both of those questions then the problem is completely you and not the lack of explanation on the games part.
