So at 7:20am (NA EST) on July 27th, the campaign eval tick was 350 for EP and 175 for DC in the Gray Host campaign. All factions had the same number of people, but EP and DC had low pop bonuses. DC had no scrolls, and only 4 keeps, with no outposts, but somehow had the same sized eval tick as AD, who had 4 scrolls. EP had an eval tick of 350, which wouldn't even be possible if they owned the whole map (which they absolutely did not, they had home keeps and their own scrolls, that's it).
Again, all pops were the same size. This low pop bonus stuff is way out of hand. I can understand some buffering if one faction is outnumbered for a long period of time, but this is broken as **** right now.
These eval scores should be fixed to represent what the factions SHOULD have gotten, because obviously in that last maintenance something was improperly done, and the low pop bonuses are not working as intended.

Not looking for this to get derailed. This isn't a post to rid or not rid low pop bonus entirely. The evaluation ticks that are happening this morning are VERY obviously broken. Bonus is perhaps getting applied 2x to 4x, even when pops are the same.
Would very much like to see a devs response to this, as it is quite ridiculous and needs to get corrected, both in terms of the bugs and the extra campaign score points that were added but should not have been.

The devs don't read this forum. Your best hope is to fill out an in game help ticket about it. Maybe someone who cares and can do something about it will read the ticket. ...but this is a far from new issue. It's been being reported ever since they dropped the pop cap to about 80/faction without changing the low pop algorithm to accommodate the super low pop cap.
IIRC they fixed the actual bugs with this a while ago, the bonus is intended to stick around after their population has recovered as a catch-up mechanic, so the name "low pop bonus" is very misleading. I don't think this is necessary or useful since it often applies to factions that aren't the lowest pop on average and are close to 1st place in score, rather they should fix the other mechanic "low score bonus" that's been broken for years.Bonus is perhaps getting applied 2x to 4x, even when pops are the same.
