We are a friendly community (age 18+) who enjoy all aspects of the game. In addition to Housing events, we host Special Events and other contests all through the year!

Both newer and veteran players are welcome and we strive to provide a safe and fun environment for people to play at whatever stage they are at! AETHER REALM GUILD MEMBER HOUSING CONTEST THEMES: JUL-DEC 2025
These are our monthly housing contest themes for the rest of the year! Some of these may be open to non-guild members, but details for those are to be finalized...so keep an eye out!

💧July/August: Underwater Retreat🌊
Entries Due: August 20th, 11:59pm EDT
As a popular returning theme, your challenge this year is is to think outside the box a bit and create something beyond a simple aquarium within a home (as cool as they are, haha)!
— You could create something for aquatic beings to live in, escape to, or just enjoy....or perhaps it's a place for land-dwelling beings to enjoy being under the water.
— This theme may have a wide variety of interpretations - but make sure it's evident that whatever retreat you build is "underwater" even if it's not filled with water! (I.e. Disney's Atlantis...or Daisy's house in SpongeBob, etc.)

🎫September: Steampunk🚂
Use the "Steampunk" aesthetic to create your build. Your Steampunk creation doesn't have to be perfectly period accurate for the time of steam-engines, etc...but keep in mind: mechanical, engines, metal, bronze, etc.
— You do NOT have to depict machines...you could do a town with the aesthetic, a shop interior with the aesthetic, a home of a steampunk admirer, etc.

🌿October: Forgotten Ruins🔑
Create/design a space depicting a once-great place that has been reclaimed by nature or time.
Things you could consider:
— What may have caused the place to become forgotten?
— While there shouldn't be living humanoids (it's "forgotten"), are there any other inhabitants to this place?
— What were these ruins, once upon a time? A castle? A monastery? A village? Lab? Battlefield? Factory?

🍂November: Seasons / Change of Seasons 🍃
This contest will have 2 separate entry categories, with prizes for each.
1) Change of Season — modify/transform the house to depict a season that is NOT the one as is originally intended.
— I.e. - Exorcised Coven Cottage becomes winter, Snowglobe Home is made to be summer, Bouldertree Refuge becomes Autumn, etc
2) Seasons, Amplified — Take the season that the home is intended to depict and REALLY lean into it!
— I.e. - Snowglobe home into a deeply arctic area, Autumn's-Gate or Exorcised Coven's Cottage as SUPER autumn/fall themed, Grand Topal Hideaway, etc.

⛄December: Arctic Retreat🛷
Ice caves, snow lodges, and cozy spots amid the chill! Whether you're feeling festive or frosty, the theme is open to your wintery interpretation!
