This is the official feedback thread for new furnishings in Update 35. Specific feedback that the team is looking for includes the following:

• Did you try out any of the new furnishings? Did any stand out to you?
• Do you have any other general feedback?

Blueprint: High Isle Window, Turquoise does not show up in the list of craftable recipes after you learn it.

I pulled it out of the crafting envelope. You can see it is already removed, here.




I used it. You can see it is not in the inventory:




It does not list in any category of Woodworking, as seen here:

OHMIGOD! Windows! And See-Through! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!

Can we have sheets of water, too? No, seriously. That would be epic. They do not even have to move. Just sheets of water for building pools, lakes, ponds, spas, oceans.. and other fun things.

High Isle Wall, Thin Castle

I love that the wall is thin, I really do. I do not like that it is not very long at all. I believe it is going to take up a LOT of slots to make a decent-sized wall with it.

High Isle Platform, Wooden Square

Why is this thing so small? This does not make sense. I love, love the look, top, and bottom of it though.

High Isle Stairway, Tilework

Absolutely loving the height and size of this stairway. We have needed more wooden stairs, and ones that are this big, for a while.

I was reading the Combat feedback and thought to myself, this is very depressing.... so I went to the Housing feedback and just like every patch it makes me feel so much better again!

All the housing pieces are so good... so damn good.

We need a solution for the lack of available materials needed to craft these, I'll just forget the combat and do housing 100% of the time!

The Achievement Furnisher in High Isle does not have the achievement furnishings for the new DLC. Also, those furnishings are not sitting in the High Isle achievement furniture envelope. Not sure if you were aware of this, but if not, you are now.

The art team is doing a great job! I really like the new furnishings.
Is it possible to make the new drapes and curtains craftable as well? That would be awesome.
Also I'd like to be able to get High Isle sunflowers as furnishings, they're so pretty.

I like the additions, but the selection is disappointingly small. Some High Isle furnishings are still missing, such as the padded chairs, the wall fountain (the one found outside Gonfalon Palace), and the fancy curtains. Here's a few images for reference:

Another thing that could nice to have are ornamented walls and other architectural features for more elaborate builds.
You gave us the tiled floor, but forgot the fancy wooden ones. Also, actual ceilings, such as vaults. The arcades we can find in several High Isle structures would also be a good addition (both the open and blind variants), as would be smaller stairs.

I am very excited about this furnishings update!

The transparent window is great!

I love the stairs, and the wooden platforms. They will help a lot on those custom castle builds.

PLEASE add the spiral staircase from the Mages Guild!

I hope there will be more structural pieces in the future. What is often requested are those roof tiles and triangular pieces needed to build custom roofs.
There are so many architectural elements that could be released as furnishings. Many castle related elements. Please consider these proposals.

I haven't tried them, but I would say that given that transparent glass windows have been one of the absolute most requested features for furnishings pretty much since housing began (probably in the top two, together with water), and given that some houses like Pariah's Pinnacle are pretty much unusable without windows (they simply look silly -- you'd die in Pariah's, even if you were an orc), it seems like a mistake to make the Dwarfglass massive window an undaunted only item rather than more generally available.

If there were a similar large window available anywhere else, sure. But as far as I'm aware, there isn't. Given that it fills a gap that should never have existed in the first place in housing and has taken literally years to address, it really shouldn't be made into some sort of ultra-premium item.

I am also very glad to see such an unexpected item, this Dwemer "window". It creates so many new possibilities. But on the other hand, it begs the question, why not add more variations? There should be a furnishing event. We have PvE, PvP, crafting and gathering events/boons, and no special ocasion to get unique furnishings.

One of my issues with dwemer furnishings is the different themes of dwemer architecture: we have the "vanilla" dark gray one, and the Blackreach white style. If you want to make a dwemer themed place, these styles look very different.

Anyway, many thanks to the devs working on furnishings! This was a great idea!

The new furniture looks beautiful. Don't know if I just missed it but can't find corner kitchen counters in the High Isle collection. The windows look superb.

I'd like to request non-blue options for the doors and window please. I love them, but I don't want them in blue.

Would it be possible to give us two different furniture recipes for each item? One blue and one plain.




Also, PLEASE give us ColovianHastur's second batch of screenshot suggestions for furniture. These are exactly what I would LOVE to have for my castle build.

The crenelated walls, wood floors, arcades, and the window are phenomenal.
Please give us options for that window without the blue AND being transparent. Selling the same furniture piece with slight variations (color, transparency of windows) is easy profit. Please consider this.

I came back recently to the game and have had such a great time with the furnishings in the last chapter and DLC.
So many happy moments discovering and playing around!

Will be there be a more reliable way to get the style material? (See forum for many threads about issues with that).

A better way to get Ancient Sandstone would be absolutely fantastic. Craglorn is NOT my friend, and guild trader prices for it are crazy high. (Please, do not increase the mundane rune and heartwood requirements instead??? Choose a better option!)

I really really appreciate the addition of a see through window; it's something I think will help in a lot of builds. I also really like the new doors as well. We can never have enough doors, or door frames it seems. Can we possibly have a proper door frame for the Solitude Door, Arched Wooden that was released with Greymoor some day? It's one of my fav doors and it would be cool to have a stone door frame for it. The Solitude stone archway is very large and seems more like it's meant as a garden archway than a doorframe

And I absolutely adore the new Akatosh hourglass; I have long since been wanting the opportunity to change the time in my many homes. Thank you A part of me was hoping the final dragon pet transformation would be a house like last year, but to me this is even better than a house.

Can you tell me where to find the 'Lost Depths Recipe Envelope' because I am on the PTS now with a new created character and I cannot find that in any of the containers given with the new character.
