So, watching he stream today, the tutorials came up, and Brian and Alec both talked about how they would love to update some of the in-game tutorials, but the time just isn't realistically there because of the development cycle.
They mentioned the streamers and YouTubers and a thought occurred to me; let's incentivize the Stream Team members and high-volume YouTubers and content creators to use their In Game Guilds to host new player tutorials on a rotating schedule. When there are a bunch of people chipping away at the problem using a pre-determined course to slowly introduce the ideas of weaving, animation canceling and parsing we can push the floor of the DPS up across the game. Getting groups together to actively run content while teaching them the way to do things isn't exactly a tutorial, but it is a nice stop gap.
To me, this seems like a system that could easily be implemented and could hold the line until the folks in the combat team have a chance to really drill down on the tutorials and give us what we have been asking for.
