Constantly having to reload ui in cyrodiil.

So before I post the short clip I'd like to make a few points.

1) There has been some kind of control glitch bug in PVP since the release of Imperial City. It's usually involved being stunned by an attack from stealth, and could happen accidentally.

2) Stunlock exploits have been in game since release, and have always been a crutch for 'good' players who flit from bugged mechanic to bugged mechanic.

3) This has been happening for a couple of years to me at this point but never this often and this close together. I've changed mice, and associated software at least three times with no appreciable effect.

4) It mostly has occurred while fighting DC on Gray host NA/PC. However this is likely coincidence as DC is just the primary zerg and PVdoor faction at the time.

5) No one else in my immediate circle seems to have this issue as consistently. Though all have been complaining more and more about getting stun locked none seem to have to reload ui.

6) This issue occurred over seven times in the span of two hours last night whereas it used to happen once or twice a week. Each fight had one if not several NB cloak spammers doing what seems to be a new meta for them.

With all that being said I'm going to post a link to a clip from last night. While in the heat of the moment I do strongly infer that certain people are cheating that's heat of the moment frustration type of stuff. I'd honestly love to know this is an issue that can be fixed rather than yet another example of 'good' players needing a crutch.

So if someone can tell me what's up, and any work arounds it'd be appreciated. Otherwise feel free to join me in being annoyed that this has become an increasing issue.

Is it possible your hitting a cursor mode shortcut or something similar? Thats what it looked like to me. I disabled those like the 1st week of beta

No.

It also wouldn't explain why I sometimes lose certain skill buttons. Something that's made me consider this as an issue with my mouse and or associated software. However as I said originally it's occurred over multiple pieces of both hardware and software.

This also only occurs in Cyrodiil PVP. Not in ESO PVE or in other games I play. Making it all the more annoying.

I cant yet log in to review the ingame options but is there a camera freelook mode option? Maybe hitting that button? It looked very much to me that you could still turn your view in the video long after you were complaining it was somehow broken.

I'll double check that when I can. Though how it'd get activated in the middle of a fight without me pressing it I'm not sure. My fingers aren't THAT fat after all.

And yes I can turn my camera. But I can't turn the character at all. Though admittedly I've not tried going into 1st person to see if I could turn there. Mostly because the thought never crosses my mind at the time. Plus this time I wanted to try and demonstrate the issue mor thoroughly as it is hard to explain.

So now that the server is up I went back and tested two things just to make sure I had things the way I thought.

Using the . key to enter cursor mode doesn't produce the same issue. Yes I can't turn for a moment but once I begin moving enough and or dodge roll it turns off. My skill buttons also work during that time.

ALso used the enter key to enter chat mode since it'd produce a similar issue. Again with the same results that I don't get 'locked' the way the clip shows.

It's worth noting neither of my hands would be anywhere near those keys in PVP. I use a razer naga gaming mouse with a 12 button thumb grid so I don't need to use the keyboard for much besides movement.

The issue I'm running into is that not only do I lose some if not all skill button controls I can't dodge roll, block or any of the other things that'd take one out of cursor and chat mode. Heck I can't even respawn at keeps or camps until I reload my UI.

Sometimes I can't even access other windows like discord or my streaming software. Though that seems to resolve itself once I open task manager. Which has in the past made me think this is some weird systems conflict.

However the fact this problem occurred repeatedly and in so short a time frame is troublesome. I can handle a glitch occuring once or twice a week over a period of 9-12 hours. But three or more times in five minutes is...irksome.
