Winning ranked matches resulting in no progress ToT

So I have won three games in ranked Tales of Tribute, and have made "+0" progress towards rubedite. Is anyone else experiencing this? What is the point of matching me up with someone in ranked where I have up to 300 points to lose, and absolutely 0 to gain? That is really messed up.
